The records included death of 14 persons in total, the last was five-year-old Richard Taclino of Dungon A, Jaro, Iloilo City.
City health officer Dr. Mae Delmo reiterated her call on the public to maintain cleanliness.
At the same time, Delmo also warned the public on the recent emergence of an alarming disease called "Japanese Encephalitis" which is also caused by mosquito bites.
Delmo said this disease shows similar symptoms with dengue but its fatal effect was on the human brain.
