Thousands of Ilonggos trooped to be part of the opening, with over a hundred people lining up as early as eve of November 29 to avail of their promo of free doughnuts and coffee.
Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog graced the opening rites, which included the performance of Dinagyang tribe warriors and awarding of tickets to first three customers who bought a dozen doughnuts.
Ria Catabas of Mandurriao got the Golden Ticket, which will give her 1 year supply of doughnuts and coffee for free. Marc Christian Mahinay and Lajel Lachica got the Silver (6-month supply) and Bronze (3-month supply) tickets, respectively.
