Selling of Dinagyang 2013 tickets starts December 12

Iloilo Dinagyang Foundation has announced the start of selling Dinagyang 2013 tickets on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 for the three performance stages on January 26-27, 2013.

Dinagyang ticket outlets are at the city tourism office of the Iloilo Cityhall and at the Dinagyang Lounge under the Freedom Grandstand.

Dinagyang Foundation chairman Ramon Cua Locsin admitted that this early, several travel and tour operators have signified intentions for ticket reservation for their confirmed guests and tourists to be in Iloilo City to see the Dinagyang Festival.

Locsin said that they have printed a total of 3,000 tickets to be sold at first come, first serve basis and the confirmed reservations are only for travel and tour agencies.

Four Dinagyang stages are to be constructed along the Dinagyang route in the city proper for a carousel grand parade of the Kasadyahan tribes on January 26 and Ati-atihan tribe competition on January 27.

The first stage will be at the Iloilo Freedom Grandstand at, 1,400 for two days at the right side and P1,200 at the two side extension stages. The center stage and left side of the Freedom Grandstand are reserved for the guests of Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog.

The second stage will be at the Iloilo provincial capitol under the operation of the provincial government. The third stage will at corner Quezon Ledesma streets and tickets are sold at P1,200 at the center stage and P1,000 at the two side stages.

The fourth stage will be at the Maria Clara area and tickets will be sold at P1,000. By Lydia Pendon
