Region's top cop commends Iloilo city gov't

Police Regional Office (PRO-6) director Chief Supt. Agrimero Cruz commended the City Government under the leadership of Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog during the celebration of 115th Independence Day at City Hall June 12.

Cruz who served as keynote speaker of the event said he is proud of the visionary leadership and exemplary performance of the Mabilog administration. He also cited the City Council under the supervision of Vice-mayor Jose Espinosa III.

The Western Visayas top police official encouraged Ilonggos in their own little ways to follow the law as well as support the programs for peace and order which are enough efforts for oneself to become a hero.

Cruz also enjoined the people to help as well as inspire others in the battle against poverty and illiteracy in order to move onward on the road to progress.
