For the first time, City Government officials held their regular Tuesday meeting outside the City Hall at the soon-to-open Horizon Café in Injap Tower Hotel along Diversion Road, Mandurriao.

“We are doing this so that we can experience first-hand this newest investment that opened here in our city, and we ourselves can marvel, promote and talk about the beauty that is now Iloilo City where a lot of developments are on-going,” Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog said.

Indeed, the department heads and chiefs of offices were treated to a panoramic view of the city at the 21st floor of the condotel, the tallest so far in the metro.

Horizon Café will be a full service, all-day dining restaurant with a mix of Asian and Western cuisines, and will bring new authentic flavours and a new level of service to the Iloilo City. The Cafe will also create more jobs for Ilonggos,as they have hired 50 staff from Iloilo in February.

The city's tallest restaurant will have a grand opening for invited guests on July 18, and will be open for public on July 19. Store hours and other details here.
