SM City Iloilo gets Top Taxpayer award

Iloilo City Government recently recognized SM City Iloilo as one of the top 50 taxpayers in the metropolis both in business and real property sector.

The annual awarding of top taxpayers is part of the celebration of Charter Day of Iloilo City, which is now on its 80th year. Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog led the awarding ceremony held at Grand Xing Imperial Hotel on August 23, 2017.

Mabilog thanked SM City Iloilo and other the awardees whom through their businesses have provided an "invaluable support to Iloilo City Government's programs and projects that have immensely contributed to the economic growth of the city."

Other SM companies, such as SM Supermarket ansd SM Store were also given recognition by the city in their respective sectors.

SM City Iloilo Asst. Mall Manager Jasmine Maquiling and SM Regional Operations Manager Girlie Liboon were present to receive the award.
