Other Updates
Smart Communication will install satellite phones in Carles, Estancia, Sara and Concepcion and will be operational by 9 AM on Wednesday, November 13. Libreng Tawag will be offered.
Also, signal capacity of Smart and Globe towers located in other areas of Iloilo and Negros Occidental is now being enhanced so mobile phones in the 5th district can link to the network.
PDRRMC also added that Yolanda affected 7, 309 families with the latest record coming from Oton with 1,538 families, Cabatuan with 86 and Tubungan, 37.
Operation of ports in the Iloilo is now back to normal. Pumpboat trips from Guimaras to Iloilo City and vice versa, fastcraft from Iloilo to Bacolod and vice versa and RORO from Dumangas to Bacolod and vice versa are now allowed by Coast Guard.
In the city, Mayor Jed Mabilog has announced that classes in all levels in Iloilo City will resume on Monday, November, 11, 2013.
