PRC-6 Regional Director Lily Ann Baldago said that the waiting time for the preparation and processing of ID cards has been cut down to five working days.

Baldago said that the commission also has the ID express lane which assures same-day printing and issuance of the professional ID but with an additional cost.

She said that the PRC Central Office is also pilot testing the processing and issuance of the ID cards in just two hours.

The PRC official also said that their online application system for licensure examination is already in full-swing.

The PRC-6 implemented the online application system in April 2012 to improve its frontline services.

The system enables applicants for licensure examinations to apply online, anytime and anywhere and take the licensure examination at the PRC testing centers indicated in their application forms. (PIA)
