New Muelle Loney Bridge in Iloilo

The construction of new Muelle Loney Bridge crossing Iloilo River to fastcraft and roro terminal in Barangay Progreso, Lapuz is underway, with perspective of the project posted below.

Department of Public Works and Highways in Western Visayas (DPWH-6) Regional Director Edilberto Tayao said that construction of a P350-million bridge from Muelle Loney area to the new PPA facility in Lapuz is needed for the convenience of commuters and port operations.

Aside from the bridge, Esplanade 3 will also be constructed in Muelle Loney wharf, as part of rehabilitation projects of DPWH and Senator Franklin Drilon for the Iloilo River.
