Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog was on-site in Brgy. Tagbak, Jaro to grace the ceremony and welcome this new investment seen to further address the hospital needs of Ilonggos, employ health workers and also boost the flourishing medical tourism in the city.

MIHMCI president Dr. Danilo Coronacion said that the level 2 hospital project  will occupy a 5,000-square meter lot.

"To start with, we will have a 100-bed set in a complete facility-modern hospital," Encarnacion said.

The vision of the corporation was nurtured by a group of determined and highly qualified professionals who aspire to complement the existing hospitals in Iloilo City.

"It is not meant to compete but rather to address the increasong demand for hospital care services of the population," he added.
