Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog welcomed the opening of SuperCare Medical Services, Inc. (SMSI) in Iloilo City.

He stressed the opening of new healthcare facilities boost investor's confidence in the metropolis and address the increasing demand of qualified Ilonggo manpower for jobs abroad.

SMSI is a maritime clinic, authorized to perform pre-employment medical examinations and issue medical clearances to seafarers and overseas contract workers by the Department of Health (DOH), Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) and Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA).

The clinic designs medical examination packages to meet the health requirements of cruise lines and passenger vessels for hotel and restaurant crew members and bulk carriers and tankers for technical crew members.

The firm assists manning agencies facilitate deployment thru expeditious pre-employment medical examination process.

The company collaborates with principals in developing pre-employment medical examination programs aimed at reducing the incidence of medical repatriation.

They work with industry stakeholders to improve the health of Filipino sailors and overseas contract workers.
