Dr. Eden Deriada, in-charge of the Kasadyahan contest, said invitations were already sent out to local government units and schools here and throughout the province seeking their participation.
She will also be coordinating with the regional office of the Deptartment of Tourism to seek help in inviting festivals from various provinces of Western Visayas.
The Kasadyahan contest held during the second day of the three-day highlights of the Dinagyang Festival provides venue to showcase the best festivals of the region.
The 2012 Kasadyahan for the first time gathered festivals from Aklan, Guimaras, Capiz and Negros Occidental.
Kasadyahan Festival is scheduled on January 26, 2013, Saturday. It will be followed by the Dinagyang Festival Ati Tribe Competition on January 27, Sunday.
