The search is on for Miss Silka Iloilo 2016

Fifteen beautiful, smart and talented Ilonggas will vie for this year’s prestigious title of Miss Silka Iloilo 2016.


The fifteen lovely and flawless Ilonggas were presented at Plazuela de Iloilo on April 16 as this year's candidates of Miss Silka Iloilo.

Miss Silka Iloilo is an annual top of the line beauty search by Cosmetique Asia Corporation, makers of SILKA and Juicy Cologne products and organized by Travel and Marketing Experts, Corp.

Staged every summer for the past eight years, the pageant has produced top-notch title holders who have continued to garner other beauty titles and explored better opportunities after being crowned Miss Silka.

This year’s 15 official candidates who were screened based on flawlessness of skin, beauty, body proportion, wit and intelligence are Ann Camille Reyes, Ma. Rhoda Segovia, Stella Marie Medalle, Sarah Mae Lara Rodriguez, Janielle Gracie Miranda, Cindy Marriah Dumol, Melissa Van Cauwenberghe, Eda Marie Grio, Kristine Cassandra Cambronero, Joanna Marie Watamama, 11Maria Angela Andrade, Krystelle Jewel Cartojano, Hannah Kaye Basal, Joyce Marie Sebio and Angelica Estrevillo.

Miss Silka Iloilo’s 3-month pageant kicked off with three (3) sets of screenings last March. The official presentation of candidates was at Plazuela de Iloilo last April 16, talent competition at The Shops at Amigo on April 23, swimwear competition with designers’ gown parade at Plazuela de Iloilo on April 30 and the grand coronation night will be at Robinson’s Place Iloilo on May 14.

Celebrity host, actor VJ Alex Diaz will be the guest artist to entertain during the coronation night.

The winner of the Iloilo pageant will represent the province in the Search for Miss Silka Philippines 2016 this November.
